This policy explains what UpLift Mortgage does with the information you share on this website, and the choices you have. It applies to this website and to the quiz on it.
What we collect
- Information you give us in the quiz: your first and last name, email address, phone number, approximate mortgage balance, age range, and coverage priority.
- Information collected automatically when you visit: pages viewed, the link or advertisement that brought you here, approximate location derived from your IP address, and basic device and browser details.
- If you book a call, the appointment details you enter in the scheduling tool.
Why we use it
- To review your answers and prepare life insurance options that fit your situation.
- To contact you by phone, email, or text about those options, where you have agreed to be contacted.
- To request quotes from insurance carriers on your behalf when you ask us to.
- To measure which advertisements and pages lead people to complete the quiz, so we do not waste advertising spend.
- To meet our record-keeping obligations as a licensed insurance producer.
Who we share it with
- Insurance carriers and their underwriting partners, when preparing or submitting an application you have asked for.
- Service providers who operate this website, our email, our phone system, and our scheduling and customer records, under agreements limiting them to working on our behalf.
- Regulators, or others, where the law requires it.
- We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with unrelated third parties for their own marketing.
Advertising and measurement
- We advertise on Google. When you arrive from an advertisement, Google may set cookies or similar identifiers so that a completed quiz can be counted as a result of that advertisement.
- This measurement tells us how many people completed the quiz and which searches brought them. It does not tell advertisers your name, email, or phone number.
- You can opt out of personalized Google advertising at any time through Google's own ad settings, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser.
Calls, texts, and emails
- By submitting the quiz you agree that a licensed agent may contact you by phone, email, or text at the number and address you provided, including by automated dialing or pre-recorded message where permitted. Message and data rates may apply.
- Consent is not a condition of purchasing any product.
- You can stop calls or texts at any time by telling the agent, or by replying STOP to a text. You can stop emails using the unsubscribe link.
How long we keep it
- We keep quiz submissions and related correspondence for as long as needed to serve you, and afterwards for the period required by insurance record-keeping rules in the states where we are licensed.
- You may ask us to delete your information at any time, subject to those retention obligations.
Your choices
- You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it.
- Residents of some states, including California, have additional rights over their personal information. We apply these rights to anyone who asks.
- To make a request, contact us using the details below. We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights.
Security
- Information you submit is transmitted over an encrypted connection and stored with providers who maintain industry-standard safeguards.
- No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
- This website is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
